Top Debaters Receive Accolades from Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice, High Court of Chhattisgarh

Bilaspur, August 29th, 2025: As part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the High Court of Chhattisgarh, a Debate Competition for Advocates was organized today at the High Court Auditorium. The event focused on the highly relevant topic, “Can Artificial Intelligence Make Justice More Efficient Without Sacrificing Ethical Principles?” The competition drew enthusiastic participation from advocates, who engaged in insightful and vigorous debate on the integration of AI in the justice delivery system. Participants presented compelling arguments, exploring both the potential benefits of AI—such as enhanced efficiency and data handling—as well as the associated ethical concerns, including transparency, fairness, accountability, and the irreplaceable human element in judicial decision-making.

The event concluded with the distribution of prize to the top three debaters. Advocate Shri Prasun Bhaduri was awarded the First Prize, Advocate Mrs. Diksha Gouraha received the Second Prize, and Advocate Ms. Ishita was bestowed with the Third Prize. The awards were presented by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice, High Court of Chhattisgarh.

Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice, High Court of Chhattisgarh also conferred certificate of participation to the rest of the participants.
