To be appointed as a District Judge, an Advocate needs a continuous legal practice of 7 years, Rules Allahabad HC

Recently, the Allahabad High Court clarified that to seek an appointment as a District Judge/Judicial Officer under Article 233(2) of the Constitution, an advocate needs to have a continuous legal practice of 7 years, without any breaks, on the cut-off date to be eligible for appointment.
