Supreme Court Orders SBI to Pay ₹30 lakh to an 80-year-old Man for Bank Locker Theft

A bench of Justices Surya Kant and AS Oka in the Supreme Court on Monday ordered the bank to pay a compensation of Rs 30 lakh to an 80-year-old man who lost his entire life savings as a result of a burglary at the bank where his cash and valuables were stored in a locker.
