CJI DY Chandrachud has stated that from next week, special benches will be set up in the Supreme Court to hear tax cases. The CJI made the observation when a lawyer mentioned a tax matter for urgent listing. The CJI stated that there would be a Special Direct and Indirect Tax Bench from next week.
