Senior Advocate Vinod Ghai will be the new Punjab Advocate General. This comes after Anmol Rattan Sidhu resigned from his position as Advocate General for personal reasons. Ghai has been a member of the Punjab and Haryana High Court since 1989, specialising in criminal law and murder cases. In 2012, he was named Senior Advocate.
