SC directs Maharashtra police to not file charge sheets against Param Bir Singh

On Monday, the Supreme Court restrained Maharashtra state police from filing charge sheets against ex-Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh.  However, the Court clarified that investigations in the case will continue and counter-affidavits can be filed within one week.
