Recently, the Supreme Court observed that a quasi-judicial authority has the duty to disclose material that was relied on at the stage of adjudication. As per the Bench of Justices DY Chandrachud and Sanjiv Khanna an ipse dixit of authority that has not relied on some material will not exempt it of liability for disclosing
