Orissa HC Junks PIL Against RBI Circular Permitting Exchange of ₹2000 Currency Notes Without ID

In a significant ruling, the Orissa High Court dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) challenging the demonetization policy implemented by the Union of India. The PIL, filed by Smt. Jayanti Das, sought various changes in the policy and called for a writ of mandamus to be issued to the government. The petitioner’s counsel, Mr. B.K.
