Newspaper Reports are Hearsay Evidence and are not Admissible Unless the Person Reporting it is Examined: Allahabad HC 

Recently, The Allahabad HC Lucknow ruled that Newspaper reports are hearsay evidence and are not admissible unless the person reporting it is examined.  The bench of Justice Samit Gopal stated that “Conveying a press conference and/or giving an interview to the press is a totally different act than addressing a general public meeting in elections.”
