New Registrar General Appointed at Chhattisgarh High Court, District Judges Transferred

In a significant administrative reshuffle, Balram Prasad Verma has been appointed as the new Registrar General of the Chhattisgarh High Court. Previously serving as the Registrar (Vigilance), Verma’s promotion marks a crucial step in his judicial career.

In related changes, Alok Kumar, another officer from the higher judicial service, has been given additional responsibilities as the Registrar Vigilance. Kumar will also continue his duties as Registrar (Inspection, Inquiry).

Furthermore, the former Registrar General, Sudhir Kumar, has been appointed as the District and Sessions Judge of Durg. In a corresponding move, Neeta Yadav, the previous District and Sessions Judge of Bilaspur, has been transferred.
