Mere Association with a Terrorist Organisation is not Enough to Attract UAPA: Chhattisgarh HC

Recently, the Chhattisgarh High Court reiterated that mere association with a terrorist outfit is not enough to attract an offence u.s 38 of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act of 1967 unless the said association furthers the terrorist outfit’s activities. In this case, an appeal was filed u.s 21(4) of the National Investigation Agency Act of 2008
