Market value does not become a decisive factor on basis of valuation just because litigation involves immovable property: Supreme Court

On Thursday, the Supreme Court ruled that the nature of relief claimed in the plaint is decisive in the valuation of the suit.  The court further said that market value does not become decisive in suit valuation just because the immovable property is the subject matter of litigation.
