Lucknow HC Lawyers to Boycott Work in Protest on Shortage of Judges

In a decisive move, legal proceedings at the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court will come to a halt on Tuesday. This action is a result of the Avadh Bar Association’s decision to boycott work in protest against the Advocates Act Amendment Bill.

The decision was made during a meeting on Monday presided over by the president of the Bar Association, R.D. Shahi, and the secretary, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi. The meeting addressed several critical issues, including the proposal to rotate judges every two months to expedite case resolution.
