Judges Challenge High Court Collegium’s Decisions at Supreme Court, Cite Injustice in Appointment Process

Two district judges from Himachal Pradesh, Chirag Bhanu Singh and Arvind Malhotra, have taken their grievances to the Supreme Court, alleging unfair treatment in the judicial appointment process conducted by their state’s High Court Collegium. They claim their qualifications and seniority were overlooked, and even advice from the Supreme Court Collegium under Chief Justice D.Y.
