If Complainant Has Been Cross Examined, It Would Not Be Appropriate To Acquit The Accused Merely Due To Non Appearance of Complainant: SC

The Supreme Court has observed that in cases where a complainant has already been examined as a witness, it won’t be appropriate for the court to pass an order of acquittal merely due to non-appearance of the complainant. In the instant case, eight complaints were filed against the accused u.s 138 of the NI Act.
