In a significant administrative overhaul, the Himachal Pradesh High Court has issued transfer and promotion orders for 51 judges across the state. This move marks a substantial reshaping of the judicial landscape in the region.
Vivek has been appointed as the Chief Judge of the Family Court in Shimla. Meanwhile, Harish Sharma has taken the position of District and Sessions Judge (Leave Reserve) and Amit Mandiyal will fill the vacant District and Sessions Judge post in Kullu. Hamesh Kumar has been assigned as Additional Bar and Sessions Judge in Kinnaur at Rampur, while Ramanik Sharma will serve as the District and Sessions Judge at the Fast Track Court in Solan.
Other notable appointments include Sidharth Sarpal as Additional District and Sessions Judge in Mandi, and Subhash Chandra Bhasin in Nahan. Nitin Mittal and Vivek will oversee Fast Track Courts in Dharamshala and Shimla, respectively. Vikrant Kaundal has been transferred as the Senior Civil Judge in Kullu.
Sandeep Singh Sihag, previously Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority in Chamba, has been appointed as ACJM in Shimla. Divya Jyoti Patiyal will serve as the Senior Civil Judge in Solan, and Nikhil Aggarwal in Chamba. Hakikat Dhanda has been appointed as Senior Civil Judge in Kangra and will also handle duties as the Mobile Traffic Magistrate for Kangra and Una until further notice.
Several Civil Judges, including Parveen Khadwal, Tina Malhotra, Varun, Karam Pratap Singh, Priya Dogra, Jyoti Bhag Chandani, Paras Ahuja, Sushmita Sharma, Vikas Thakur, Apurva Raj, Himani, Raghav Sharma, and Riddhi Patrwal have received new postings across the state.
In administrative roles, Manisha Goyal has been assigned as CJM in Mandi, and Nishant Verma, previously a Senior Civil Judge (Leave Reserve), has taken up a coordination role at the Himachal Pradesh High Court in Shimla. Other promotions include Abha Chauhan, Ajay Kumar, Akanksha Dogra, and Vivek Kayath, who will continue in their current placements.
Additional appointments such as Anuj Behl as ACJM in Nadaun, Pratik Gupta as Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority in Bilaspur, Kanika Gupta as ACJM in Theog, and many others, signify a broad realignment aimed at enhancing judicial efficiency across Himachal Pradesh.
