HC imposes Rs 3 Lakh Cost on the Employer for Making Discrimination in Selection Process

Recently, The Meghalaya HC ruled that the selection procedure must be fair and reasonable, or it would fall foul of the constitutional ethos. The bench of Chief Justice Sanjib Banerjee and Justice W. Diengdoh was dealing with the appeal challenging the judgment and order passed on the appellant’s petition under Article 226 of the Constitution.
