For Compassionate Appointment a Married and Unmarried Daughter are on Same Footing, Rules SC

Recently, the Supreme Court dismissed an appeal filed against a Karnataka High Court judgment wherein it ruled that a married daughter is also entitled to get an appointment on compassionate grounds. The Court opined that there cannot be any discrimination between unmarried and married daughters. The observation was made by a Bench of Justices SK
