A bomb threat sent via email to the Dwarka District Court complex triggered a major security alert in the national capital on Wednesday morning, leading to a complete evacuation of the premises and an intensive search operation by security agencies.
According to Delhi Police officials, the threat was received through an email late Tuesday night around 9:00 PM, but court authorities informed the police only on Wednesday morning. At approximately 10:45 AM, a call was made to the Police Control Room (PCR), alerting them about the bomb threat.
In response, the entire court complex was promptly evacuated. Bomb disposal squads, dog squads, and local police units were deployed to conduct a thorough search of the area. As of now, no suspicious object has been found, and investigations are ongoing.

Judicial proceedings were suspended following the threat, and courtrooms were vacated as a precautionary measure. Judges, staff, litigants, and lawyers were safely escorted out of the building. Eye-witnesses reported that judges exited their chambers around 11:00 AM, and security personnel directed everyone else to leave the premises.
Bar association members urged calm among lawyers and litigants, asking them not to panic and to cooperate with security protocols. Authorities are treating the threat with utmost seriousness and are attempting to trace the origin of the email.
Further updates are awaited as the search operation continues.
