The Delhi High Court has declared the final roll number-wise result for the Judicial Translator (Open) Examination-2023. The notification, issued under the authority of Registrar General Arun Bhardwaj, provides a detailed breakdown of the marks obtained by candidates in the Stage-II (Descriptive Examination) and Stage-III (Interview) rounds.

The recruitment process for the post of Judicial Translator involved a rigorous evaluation mechanism.

  • Stage-II (Descriptive Examination): This stage carried a maximum of 200 marks, with a mandatory passing threshold of 90 marks.
  • Stage-III (Interview): Candidates who qualified the descriptive round appeared for the interview, which carried a maximum of 30 marks, with a passing mark of 13.
  • Final Merit: The final selection was based on the total marks secured out of a maximum of 230 marks.

The result notification explicitly states that there was no vacancy for the Unreserved category in this cycle. Therefore, the pass marks and selection criteria were applied as per the norms fixed for the reserved categories.

Recommendations for Appointment

Based on the performance in the descriptive examination and interview, the High Court has recommended four candidates for appointment against the available vacancies in the OBC and ST categories.

OBC Category Recommendations

Three candidates have been recommended for appointment against the vacancies in the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category:

  1. Rohit Tomar (Roll No. 3313002901)
    • Marks: 147 (Stage-II) + 23 (Stage-III) = 170 Total
    • Remarks: Recommended for appointment subject to the submission/production of the requisite Relieving Order.
  2. Vijay Kumar Kadyan (Roll No. 5313009681)
    • Marks: 146 (Stage-II) + 24 (Stage-III) = 170 Total
    • Remarks: Recommended for appointment.
  3. Sudhir Kumar (Roll No. 5313015678)
    • Marks: 105 (Stage-II) + 24 (Stage-III) = 129 Total
    • Remarks: Recommended for appointment.

One candidate has been recommended for appointment against the vacancy in the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category:

    • Remarks: Recommended for appointment subject to the submission/production of the requisite Relieving Order.

Other Candidates’ Performance
