Orissa HC Directed the Electricity Department To Pay Rs 200000 to Deceased Who Died Due to Hanging Position of Live Electric Line

Recently, The Orissa HC directed the Electricity Department to pay Rs. 2,00,000 to deceased who died due to hanging position of live electric line. The bench of Justice Biswanath Rath stated that there is no response to the pleading even assuming there may be requirement of adjudication of the issue of likelihood of the Electricity
