Cooperative Society Does Not Automatically Become Multi-State Society Upon State Reorganization; ‘Objects’ Not ‘Area of Operation’ Determinative: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has held that the reorganisation of a State does not automatically transform a cooperative society registered under a State Act into a multi-State cooperative society under Section 103 of the Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act, 2002.
