Consumer Court Fines Postal Department ₹20,000 for Tampering with Parcel

In a recent ruling, a district consumer forum in Hyderabad has ordered India Post to pay a compensation of ₹20,000 to a retired IPS officer whose parcel was tampered with and had missing items. The complainant, VK Singh, alleged that he had sent four packets containing various articles through India Post at the General Post
