Commemoration of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti at the High Court of Chhattisgarh

Bilaspur,April 14th,2025: The High Court of Chhattisgarh today observed Ambedkar Jayanti with reverence and solemnity, commemorating the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. On this occasion, the bust of Dr. Ambedkar, installed in the High Court premises, was respectfully garlanded by Hon’ble  Shri Justice Sanjay K. Agrawal, Judge, High Court of Chhattisgarh, under the able guidance of Hon’ble the Chief Justice Shri Ramesh Sinha.

Though Hon’ble the Chief Justice is presently in Lucknow due to personal commitments, he continues to conduct court proceedings through video conferencing mode, reflecting his unwavering dedication to judicial responsibilities.

It is significant to note that the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in the High Court premises was unveiled by Hon’ble the Chief Justice Shri Ramesh Sinha on 26th January 2024, marking the Republic Day celebrations.

Today’s ceremony was attended by the President of the High Court Bar Association,  Officers of the Registry, Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy, Chhattisgarh State Legal Services Authority, and Employees of the High Court, all of whom paid homage to the visionary leader.
