Collegium Recommends Five Advocates as Judges of Calcutta High Court

In a significant move aimed at strengthening the judiciary, the Supreme Court Collegium, during its session on February 25, 2025, has officially recommended the appointment of five distinguished advocates to the bench of the High Court at Calcutta. This announcement underscores the judiciary’s ongoing commitment to enhancing legal proceedings and accessibility.

The list of appointees includes a diverse group of legal practitioners, each bringing a wealth of expertise and experience to the bench. The nominees are:
