In a significant event, Bombay High Court Chief Justice Dipankar Datta recused himself on Thursday from hearing a plea seeking quashing of the appointment of Subodh Kumar Jaiswal as the CBI Director. Justice Datta stated in open court that the petitioner, one Rajendrakumar V Trivedi wrote to CJI Ramana wherein he complained about Justice Datta.
