20th August 2026: In a moment of institutional significance, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Arun Bhansali Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court inaugurated the ‘Litigant Shed’ near gate No. 08 of High Court’s Lucknow Bench campus at Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow on 20th August 2026.
The shed will provide basic amenities like seating, fan, drinking water and washrooms for everyday visitors and litigants so they do not have to wait outdoors or in crowded corridors. This will prioritize people-friendly infrastructure and ease hardships for ordinary citizens attending court hearings.
The event was attended by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajan Roy Senior Judge and Chairman Of Building Committee, High Court, Lucknow and other Hon’ble Judges of High Court, along with the Learned Registrar General, Learned Senior Registrar, officers of the Registry and the other esteemed members of the Awadh Bar Association.
