Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday stated that the Court while exercising power under S. 147 of the N.I. Act can proceed to compound offence even in those cases, where the accused stands convicted. The bench of Justice Sandeep Sharma was dealing with the application filed for compounding of the offence under S.147 of the Negotiable Instruments
