The Civil Court at Pendraroad today witnessed a momentous occasion with the virtual inauguration of ‘Bhoomi Poojan’ and Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for construction of Additional Two Court Room Building ,by Hon’ble Shri Justice Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice High Court of Chhattisgarh, a unique initiative aimed at creating a serene and welcoming judicial environment.
Hon’ble Shri Justice Naresh Kumar Chandravanshi,Judge High Court of Chhattisgarh, and Portfolio Judge of Bilaspur District also graced the event virtually.
In his address, Hon’ble Chief Justice Shri Ramesh Sinha emphasized the commitment of the judiciary towards modernizing court facilities and promoting an environment conducive to effective justice delivery.
Hon’ble the Chief Justice lauded the efforts of the District judiciary and Administration in bringing this vision to life. This project, which integrates natural aesthetics and thoughtful landscaping within the court premises, reflects the idea of Hon’ble the Chief Justice towards growing emphasis on environmental consciousness and mental well-being in judicial spaces. The event marked another step forward in the ongoing efforts of Hon’ble Chief Justice Shri Ramesh Sinha to make the judicial process more inclusive, efficient, and citizen-friendly.
The programme commenced with the welcome address by Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bilaspur and concluded with a vote of thanks on behalf of the District Judiciary by District & Additional Sessions Judge Pendraroad.
The virtual ceremony also witnessed the presence of the Registrar General , Officers of the Registry, Judicial Officers of the District Court Bilaspur and Pendra Road, Officials from the District Administration and Police Department, Distinguished Members of the Bar Associations of Bilaspur and Pendraroad, and Representatives from print and electronic media.
