Centre notifies Transfer of Justice Chandra Dhari Singh from Delhi to Allahabad High Court

In a much-awaited move, the Centre has approved the transfer of Justice Chandra Dhari Singh from the Delhi High Court back to the Allahabad High Court. This decision follows the Supreme Court Collegium’s recommendation made in late November 2024.

The Ministry of Law and Justice released an official notification on Friday, confirming the transfer. The Collegium, led by Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna and comprising Justices BR Gavai and Surya Kant, had initially recommended this move during their meetings on the 28th and 29th of November 2024.
