The Central government has approved the appointment of chairpersons to the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal (DRAT) a day after the Supreme Court voiced its unhappiness, alleging that the bureaucracy was handling tribunal appointments lightly. The Cabinet Appointments Committee approved the Department of Financial Services’ proposal to appoint the following individuals as chairpersons of the DRATs.:
