Center Notifies Appointment of 30 High Court Judges Across Four States

In a major push to tackle pending cases and fill judicial vacancies, the Central Government has officially notified the appointment of 30 advocates and judicial officers as Judges and Additional Judges across four High Courts. The appointments were made by the President of India in exercise of constitutional powers and in consultation with the Chief Justice of India.

The official notification covers appointments to the High Courts of Madras, Calcutta, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh.

Distribution Across High Courts

1. Madras High Court (15 Judges)

The Madras High Court received the largest notification of appointments, comprising six permanent Judges and nine Additional Judges:
