Bombay High Court to Hear Plea on Sushant Singh Rajput’s Case, Father Expresses Hope for Justice

The Bombay High Court has scheduled a hearing on February 19 for a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) concerning the investigations into the deaths of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager, Disha Salian. The PIL, which seeks further investigation, specifically demands the arrest and questioning of Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aditya Thackeray regarding the mysterious circumstances surrounding their deaths.

In a recent interaction with ANI, Sushant’s father, KK Singh, conveyed his anticipation and hope for justice under Maharashtra’s new government regime. He stated, “I hope that whatever comes out of the court will be right. And hopefully, it will come out soon. We hoped for justice with the CBI, but it didn’t do its job on time. Now that it has come to the court, there is a hope that justice will be obtained.”

Reflecting on the emotional toll of his son’s death, KK Singh emphasized the improbability of his son’s death being a suicide, a sentiment that has echoed across the actor’s fan base and family since the tragedy occurred. “It is natural to have an emotional moment of five years. There was only one boy. This happened to him. One can imagine what will happen to the father,” he expressed.
