Justice Nitin Wasudeo Sambre is being transferred from the Bombay High Court to the Delhi High Court. Justice Sambre has contributed significantly to the civil and criminal jurisprudence in Maharashtra.
Replacing him, the Collegium has proposed the transfer of Justice Shree Chandrashekhar (PHC: Jharkhand), currently serving in Rajasthan, to the Bombay High Court. His expertise in constitutional and administrative matters is expected to support the heavy caseload of the Bombay bench.
