Bombay High Court Clears Path for Release of Akshay Kumar’s “Sky Force”

In a significant ruling on Thursday, the Bombay High Court opted not to delay the release of the much-anticipated Akshay Kumar film “Sky Force”. Justice Manish Pitale dismissed an interim order in a case brought by Sandeep Gangatkar, an animator and creative director who claimed that the film’s concept bore a striking resemblance to his original work titled “Fire Bird”.

Despite Gangatkar’s appeal for a pre-screening of the film to support his claims, the court declined this request. The judge, however, has ordered the film’s director and producers, listed as defendants in the lawsuit, to submit their formal responses within the next four weeks.

“Sky Force”, starring Akshay Kumar alongside Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur, and newcomer Veer Pahariya, is scheduled to premiere nationwide tomorrow.
