BCI informs the Supreme Court that it will amend Rules to outlaw strikes by Advocates

On Friday, the Bar Council of India informed the Apex Court that it was planning to frame rules to outlaw strikes by lawyers and take action against Bar Associations that call for such strikes. The Chairman of the BCI, Mr Manan Kumar Mishra, made these submissions before a Bench headed by Hon’ble Justice DY Chandrachud.
