The Delhi High Court has ruled that banks cannot use lookout circulars (LOCs) as an arm-twisting tactic to recover debt when there are no allegations of fraud or siphoning of money. The court quashed an LOC issued against a former company director who had provided a personal guarantee for a loan that went into default.
