Badaun: Woman Judge’s Death Under Investigation Amid Murder Allegations

In a shocking development that has gripped the town of Badaun in Uttar Pradesh, the death of a 29-year-old woman civil judge, initially deemed a suicide, has taken a dark turn with police now registering a murder case following allegations of foul play by her bereaved father. The woman’s lifeless body was discovered hanging in her official residence, leading to an uproar and a demand for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding her untimely demise.

The initial conclusion of suicide, drawn from a diary and a purported suicide note found at the scene, was challenged by the judge’s distraught parents. Arriving from Mau, where they reside, the parents voiced their suspicions late Saturday, suggesting a more sinister scenario where their daughter was possibly murdered and then hanged to simulate a suicide.

Responding to these grave allegations, the local police, under the direction of a senior official, lodged an FIR for murder under the stringent section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. The case, now under intense scrutiny, is being investigated by the city police station in Badaun, with a promise of meticulous examination and justice.

Forensic experts, summoned to the scene, have conducted a detailed analysis, although initial findings have not conclusively pointed towards foul play. The investigation is poised on the brink of forensic revelations, which are expected to shed light on the true nature of the judge’s death.
