Allahabad HC Directs Bar Council to Call For Police Report Before Giving License to Practice Law

Now the Lawyers with Criminal History will not be able to get licence to practise law in India easily, as the Allahabad High Court has directed the Bar Council to develop a procedure to ensure that all fresh applications received for grant of license are subjected to police verification procedure in a time bound manner.
