Abu Salem to Come Out of Jail in Oct 2030- Supreme Court Says Centre Bound to Honor Its Commitment Made to Portugal Govt

The Supreme Court on Monday ruled on Abu Salem’s petition, which claims that his imprisonment cannot exceed 25 years under the terms of the India-Portugal extradition treaty. A Bench led by Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul ruled that Centre is bound to honor the commitment given by it to Portugal govt for not putting in jail
