The Bar Council of Delhi recently issued a circular stating that lawyers who wish to enroll with the council will now have to produce their Aadhaar and Voter ID cards showing Delhi or the National Capital Region (NCR) as their place of residence. The decision was taken on April 6, 2021, during a council meeting.
