Supreme Court Again Refuses to Urgently List the Plea Challenging Hijab Judgement

On Thursday, the Apex Court refused to grant urgent listing of appeals challenging the Karnataka High Court verdict that affirmed the power of institutions/colleges to ban Hijab worm by female Muslim students in government colleges of the state. Senior Counsel Devadutt Kamat mentioned the appeals before the CJI Ramana who in turn asked the petitioners
