“You’re Dragging Your Feet” Supreme Court Adjourn Lakhimpur Khiri Case to October 26

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court admonished the Uttar Pradesh government today for “dragging its feet” in investigating the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, which killed eight people.  During the hearing, the Bench of Chief Justice of India NV Ramana and Justices Surya Kant and Hima Kohli observed,  “We believe you’re dragging your feet. Please dispel that notion.”
