Manjeet Singh Sheoran Appointed as New Registrar General of Allahabad High Court

The High Court of Judicature at Allahabad has appointed Sri Manjeet Singh Sheoran as its new Registrar General. The appointment was announced through an official notification issued by the High Court administration on September 27, 2025.

According to the notification, numbered 1602 /Admin. (Services)/2025, Sri Sheoran, who is currently serving as the District & Sessions Judge in Bulandshahar, will take up the key administrative post at the principal seat of the High Court in Allahabad.

The order, issued by the authority of the Hon’ble Court, directs Sri Sheoran to hand over the charge of his current post and proceed to take over his new posting immediately.

The notification has been signed by Rajnesh Kumar, the Registrar (Judicial) (Services).

Copies of the notification have been formally forwarded to numerous senior officials and departments for information and necessary action. This includes the Executive Chairman of the U.P. State Legal Services Authority, senior secretaries of the Uttar Pradesh government in the Niyukti and Nyay departments, the Director of the Institute of Judicial Training & Research, U.P., and all District & Sessions Judges in the state.

The formal communication ensures a smooth transition and fulfillment of all procedural requirements for the assumption of the new charge by the appointed officer.
