Justice MG Priyadarsini of Telangana High Court Passes Away; Funeral on Monday in Hyderabad

Justice MG Priyadarsini of the Telangana High Court passed away on Sunday morning, leaving behind a legacy of over two decades in judicial service. She was 16th in seniority among the judges of the High Court and was scheduled to retire next year.

Justice Priyadarsini’s mortal remains have been kept in Hyderabad, and her final rites will be performed on Monday.

Born and educated in Andhra Pradesh, Justice Priyadarsini pursued her legal studies at NBM Law College in Visakhapatnam. She enrolled as an advocate in September 1995 and began her judicial career in November 2008 as an Additional District Judge. After years of service in various capacities within the judiciary, she was elevated to the Telangana High Court on March 24, 2022.

Her passing has deeply saddened the legal fraternity, with colleagues and members of the Bar remembering her for her dedication, humility, and commitment to justice. Condolences have poured in from across the state as the judiciary mourns the untimely loss of a sitting High Court judge.
