The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has officially announced the results for the 2024 Civil Judge Preliminary Examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the JPSC’s official website, jpsc.gov.in.
The preliminary examination for the Civil Judge position was held on March 10, 2024. Those who have passed this initial phase will be eligible to participate in the Jharkhand Civil Judge Main Examination 2024.
How to Check the Results
Candidates can follow these steps to view their results:
- Visit the JPSC official website at jpsc.gov.in.
- Click on the link titled “JPSC Preliminary Exam Result 2024” on the homepage.
- Enter your roll number in the required field.
- Click on ‘Submit’ to view your result.
- Your result will be displayed on the screen.
- Option to download the result in PDF format is available.
- It is advisable to take a printout of the result for future reference.
Cutoff Marks for 2024
The cutoff marks for various categories are as follows:
- General Category: 75 marks
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 32 marks
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 32 marks
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 40 marks
Candidates who have scored above these cutoff marks will qualify for the upcoming main examination.
According to the official notification, a total of 138 vacancies are to be filled for the Civil Judge posts, distributed as follows:
- General Category: 60 positions
- EWS: 13 positions
- BC-I: 10 positions
- BC-II: 15 positions
- SC: 12 positions
- ST: 28 positions
Salary Details
The appointed civil judges will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹27,700 to ₹44,700. Dates for the main examination have not yet been announced, and only those who passed the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the main examination.
