Allahabad High Court Upholds Dismissal of District Judge, Rules That Full Court/Disciplinary Authority Not Obliged to Give Reasons For Rejecting Representation

The Allahabad High Court has upheld the dismissal of Umesh Kumar Sirohi, an Additional District and Sessions Judge, who was removed from service following allegations of demanding dowry and attempting to influence a junior judge. The court ruled that the Full Court or Disciplinary Authority is not obliged to provide reasons for rejecting the representation
