High Court Lawyer Found Dead in Car: Third Silent Attack Case in 48 Hours Stuns the City

In a shocking incident at the Indore High Court, a lawyer was found dead in his car, marking the third case of a silent attack in the city within 48 hours. The lawyer, identified as Advocate Subhash Upadhyay (52), was discovered motionless by his colleagues in the parking lot of the High Court premises on Monday.

According to Ritesh Inani, the President of the High Court Bar Association, Advocate Upadhyay’s car was parked in the High Court compound. He had attended a case in the morning and went to his car in the afternoon to retrieve or store some documents. He sat in the driver’s seat and was reading a case file.

When Upadhyay did not return for a considerable period, his junior colleagues began searching for him and eventually found him in his car, showing no signs of movement. They immediately informed their other colleagues and summoned the doctor from the High Court’s dispensary. After an initial check-up, the doctor declared Advocate Upadhyay deceased.

The news of Upadhyay’s sudden death sent shockwaves through his family and colleagues. His family, upon receiving the news from his fellow lawyers, rushed to the High Court, overwhelmed by grief. The family proceeded with his last rites on Monday evening.
