Absence of Lawyer Due to Coming From Other Places to Argue is No Excuse: Bombay HC

The Bombay High Court has ruled that lawyers and counsels who appear for parties outside of its territorial jurisdiction will not be given special consideration and their absence cannot be used as a ground for adjournment.  This ruling was made by single-judge Justice Amit Borkar in a plea filed by Deepak Kochhar seeking the quashing
