In a significant development, the Bombay High Court today saw the elevation of 11 of its additional judges to the status of permanent judges.
The official swearing-in ceremony was conducted in a decentralized manner, taking place across the High Court’s benches in Nagpur and Aurangabad, as well as at the High Court of Goa, reflecting the widespread impact and reach of this judicial advancement.

Justices Kishore Sant, Kamal Khata, Sharmila Deshmukh, Sandeep Marne, Gauri Godse, Rajesh Patil and Arif Doctor were administered oath from the principal bench of Bombay High Court by Chief Justice DK Upadhyaya.
Justices Urmila Sachin Joshi-Phalke and Bharat Pandurang Deshpande took oath at Nagpur bench before the senior most judge at Nagpur bench Justice Nitin Sambre.
Justice Valmiki SA Menezes took oath from High Court at Goa before the senior most judge at Goa Justice MS Sonak.
Justice Arun Ramnath Pedneker took oath at the Aurangabad bench of Bombay High Court before senior most judge at Aurangabad Justice RV Ghuge.
